FAQ

What is Stump Grinding?

Tree Stump Grinding is the process of removing a tree stump and it's roots by grinding it up into small pieces using heavy machinery, called a stump grinder.

Benefits of Stump Grinding

When cutting down a tree, this leaves behind a residual tree stump which can affect the aesthetic appeal of your landscape or lawn. By utilizing stump grinding services, one can effectively eliminate these remnants, resulting in a leveled ground surface.

This not only enhances the overall appearance of the landscape but also facilitates easier maintenance tasks such as lawn mowing and replanting. Furthermore, the elimination of tree stumps contributes to a safer environment for children to engage in recreational activities, reducing the risk of accidents and injuries.

Will the tree grow back?

Although there remains a possibility of tree regrowth, Henderson Stump Grinding employs meticulous techniques to surpass customer expectations. Our approach involves grinding tree stumps to a depth of up to 12 inches below ground level, diligently striving to prevent any regrowth.

Is tree stump grinding expensive?

At Henderson Stump Grinding, our pricing model is structured around the size (diameter) of the tree stump and its surrounding roots. The process of grinding a larger stump, such as one measuring 100 inches in diameter, requires more labor, fuel, and incurs greater machine wear and tear compared to a smaller stump of 30 inches.

We are dedicated to offering fair and reasonable prices that align with the scope of work involved, ensuring a mutually beneficial arrangement for both our customers and our company.
